What data we process
Contact details you give us in the form, by phone or on WhatsApp: name, phone, email and the reason for your enquiry. Health data when you attend a consultation: history, allergies, medication, assessment and how the treatment progresses. Imágenes clínicas, solo si nos autorizas por escrito. Browsing data from the website, according to what you accept in the cookie notice.
What we use it for
To handle your appointment request and reply to you. To provide healthcare and keep your clinical record. To meet our tax and healthcare obligations. To measure use of the website and, if you consent, to measure how well our advertising campaigns work. We do not build commercial profiles and we do not send you advertising unless you authorise it expressly and separately.
Base jurídica
The performance of the care relationship and the pre-contractual steps you request (art. 6.1.b GDPR). Your consentimiento for the form, non-necessary cookies and the use of images (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time. The compliance with legal obligations in healthcare, tax and accounting matters (art. 6.1.c GDPR). For health data, the purpose of providing healthcare provided by a professional bound by medical confidentiality (art. 9.2.h GDPR and Law 41/2002).
Cuánto tiempo
Contact details of people who do not become patients are kept for one year from the last contact. The clinical record is kept for a minimum of five years from the discharge of each episode of care, in accordance with Spanish Law 41/2002 and Andalusian regulations. Tax data, six years. Images, until you withdraw your consent.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or pass on your data. We rely on providers who act as data processors and handle data only on our instructions: Automattic (site hosting and forms), Google (analítica del sitio), Meta (advertising measurement and WhatsApp) and Treatwell if you book through that platform. In addition, where the law requires it, public authorities and healthcare bodies.
Transferencias internacionales
Google and Meta may process data outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. These transfers rely on the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or, failing that, on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. If you reject non-necessary cookies, these transfers never take place.
If you message us on WhatsApp, the conversation is processed on Meta's platform under its own terms. We ask that you no envíes por ese canal información clínica detallada ni fotografías médicas; that is what the consultation is for.
Your rights
You can access, rectify and erase your data, restrict or object to its processing, request its portability and withdraw any consent you have given us. Write to info@awamedicinaestetica.com stating which right you wish to exercise and attaching proof of identity. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
Menores
We do not provide aesthetic medicine treatments to minors. Beauty treatments for minors require the express authorisation of the parent or legal guardian.
